FSP Unveils Several New ATX 3.0 PSUs: Up To 2500W, Dual Gen5 Connectors, SFX

FSP has unveiled its latest ATX 3.0 PSU lineup which includes all the way up to 2500W units with the latest PCIe Gen 5.0 connectors.

The FSP booth had a ton of PSUs to go through & one of the most exciting ones was the "Anemoi" which is a standard ATX 3.0 affair measuring at 150 x 150 x 86mm. This is a 1000W PSU with PCIe Gen 5 connectors but the thing that makes it unique is the addition of several aluminum heatsink fins which makes an advanced cooling solution to deliver optimal performance inside the unit. The PSU is rated 80 Plus Platinum and the internal assembly looks really good. I wish we get to see this in a clear-shroud design.

The next PSU is the gargantuan FSP Cannon Pro which is a massive 150 x 200 x 86mm unit that is designed for Edge Computing, Server, & Workstation systems. The unit also houses two PCIe Gen 5.0 connectors and comes in an extended ATX form factor. This PSU can support up to four NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards with a rated TGP of up to 450W. Although the PSU only has 2 Gen 5.0 connectors, there are also six PCIe connectors that can feed up to 900W of power to the GPUs via an adapter cable.

FSP is also upgrading its Hydro PTM PRO with a new 1650W unit that also comes with dual PCIe Gen 5.0 connectors in the same 150 x 180 x 86 mm chassis and an 80 Plus Platinum design. For Mini-ITX users, the company has unveiled the Dagger Pro L which is a 1200W SFX-L design with an 80 PLUS Platinum rating and a 125 x 125 x 63.5 mm chassis design. The standard Dagger is also available in white color and comes in a Gen 5.0 flavor too.

Besides the PSUs, FSP also showcased its MX09 cooler which is a dual-tower heatsink solution for CPUs. It measures 147 x 149 x 160 mm, comes with compatibility for taller DIMMs, and also leaves enough space between the middle fan for easy installation and removal. FSP revealed that the CPU cooler offers 2-3C lower temps than the Noctua NH-D15 solution. It has a 7-heatpipe design that is complemented by an angular aluminum fin array with large gaps in the middle to effectively push hot air out. The company didn't reveal its pricing or availability but we'll know more in the coming months.

The company also announced that it will be updating its mainstream product portfolio with a new and refreshed branding scheme and products under the VITA, ADVAN and MEGA series.
